These tiny worlds are like a fantasyland where you can imagine people and creatures living there and when you shake it up it then snows on the inhabitants.
This reminds me of a movie where the main character had a snowglobe and there was activity in their magical land. What happened in this fantasy world affected what happened in the real world. Of course this is all make believe but it adds to the appeal of these tiny landscapes.These are usually made of transparent glass surrounding a miniature scene or landscape. These are filled with water or blowing air to swirl the snow flakes around and give your imaginary world a snowstorm. A lot of them have built in music boxes that play a delightful tune to compliment your view.

The modern ones have music, movement, lights and become more interactive all the time. Some don't have water but instead a fan blows around the snow. Some are made to place your favorite photos in.
My sister loves these tiny worlds and has several on her dresser. It is fun to check her collection and see the latest. It may not be very soon before modern technology will change these to the point where you will see changing scenes and even tiny creatures running around. At that time it may be hard to separate fact from fantasy.

I love snow globes especially the tiny town or city ones. In my imagination there are small figures moving around inside as the globe is shook causing it to snow and dream about how it would be if I lived in that village.Nativity Christmas scenes are also a favorite. Down farther on this page you will see one where someone added his girlfriend to the setting. I would like to do this too and add myself and husband lending over baby Jesus in wonder.
A few years back we have one that had a train moving through a mountain and village. It was really beautiful and fun to watch. I left it with a friend to add to her Christmas decorations and know she must have enjoyed it too.
This photo above shows a nativity globe. These are some of my favorite. However I would enjoy one that showed the face features a little better then the one featured here in this picture. However notice that the one I choose here to the right shows the faces better than the one in the photo.
These snowglobes are filled with water or blowing air that helps to move the snow-bits around. Some are musical to add to the beauty and can help your imagination to soar.
I really like what was added to the photo above. The person doing this inserted his girlfriend in the setting and it makes her appear that she is giving loving devotion to baby Jesus with the surrounding characters.
When reading about this it looks like she is actually in a photo of the snow globe and not in the real thing. At first I thought her picture was really put in there. This would be a great idea to you entrepreneurs who are reading this. Figure out a realistic way to add people to these and you would probably have trouble keeping up with all the orders you would get.
