Used Fish Tanks and Aquariums. Aquarium Stand - For 55 Gallon Tank (Cherry/Black)

Fish Tanks and Aquariums are perfect for the home that needs to relieve stress or for those who simply enjoy these fascinating creatures. I personally have had many fish tanks and raised guppies and mystery snails. My main aquarium was 40 gallons and it held my regular population like male guppies and other small fish including one male betta fish. It was considered a rescue to place these male betta fish in each of my tanks. These fish were rescued from being used for fighting and having to live in tiny environments. Another fish tank held my female guppies and other small fish to liven up the environment. Then I had several smaller

tanks for baby guppies and mating guppy pairs. Each of these tanks also included other small fish except for the baby guppy aquarium, which only had mystery snails to keep them company. These babies were small enough for the other fish to eat. Just writing about this gives me the urge to rush out and buy up some fish tanks and get back into this enjoyable hobby.

To be considered an aquarium the container has to be able to hold water without leaking and have at least one clear side in order to see the inhabitants. Then this environment is filled with plants and fish that can get along well with some bottom fish and snails to keep the place clean. There should be a heater and air bubblier to keep the environment warm and supply plenty of fresh air.

The water in your fish tank can be fresh or salty. Salt water aquariums need a little more work to maintain but anyone new to the hobby should invest in some good "how too" books to keep from making a mess of things and harming the creators that depend on you for life. Stay away from the small fish bowls. Fish can live in them for awhile but eventually die. The best environment is an aquarium that supplies warmth and air and some live plants.

On this page you will find all the supplies you need to get set up with your own fishy environment. Tropical Fish Tank Decorations, Stands and much more.

Dear Fish Tanks & Aquarium Fans,

I am writing to you in behalf of your Heavenly Father. He is seeking you like a lost sheep. You remember the Bible story? It is about a shepherd who has 100 sheep. But when he brings the sheep home one night, one is missing. He then leaves the 99 sheep and goes out into the wilderness until he finds that lost sheep.

In this parable the shepherd goes out to search for the one lost sheep-the very least that can be numbered. So if there had been but one lost soul, Christ would have died for that one. To read more click Lost Sheep
