RX-7: Mazda's Rotary Engine Sportscar -Revised 2nd Edition

Mazda was founded in Japan in 1920. The first Mazda was the Mazda-Go in 1931. Even though the Mazda name was used on all the automobiles it wasn't until 1984 that the name was formally used. In 1960 Mazda wanted a different engine from other Japanese autos so developed the Wankel rotary engine. Mazdas quickly became popular though out the world for being lightweight and having a powerful engine that compared to heavier vehicles. The most popular exports were the R1000 and RX series Rx 2, RX 3, RX 4.

Mazda also produced a Wankel powered pickup truck and a rotary powered bus. The 1973 oil crisis was the reason for the smaller Familia and Capella lines. The rotary engine was to heavy to put in these smaller cars so Mazda developed the piston powered lightweight sports car Roadster called the MX5 or Miata that could use the heavier engine.

In 1979 Ford began a partnership with Mazda which resulted in the Mazda B Series pickup trucks, Laser and the Escort and Probe models and more.

But when he brings the sheep home one night, one is missing. He then leaves the 99 sheep and goes out into the wilderness until he finds that lost sheep.
