Dolphins are often thought of being earth's most intelligent animal. They are mostly friendly, playful and have become widely popular. The television show Flipper has added to their popularity.
Dolphins can be taught tricks like leaping out of the water at the trainer's command and performing acrobatic antics to the delight...
In the wild, dolphins have shown their playfulness by engaging seaweed, seabirds and turtles just for fun. Everything isn't all fun and game however. The male dolphin's body is usually covered with scars made by other males who are fighting over the female dolphins. So like so many animals the fight for a mate is common.
There are stories of dolphins saving drowning humans by helping them to shore or protecting them from sharks. Dolphins deserve our admiration, protection and help.
I can remember watching Flipper as a child and loving the dolphin. There are places where you can pay to swim with them and that would be something I would like to do. However there is some controversy over this. Some feel that the dolphins should be left alone. But the problem with that is if the public is kept away from these beautiful creatures they could lose interest in them and public support could go away.
There are some that want to prevent ownership of dogs and cats. If this happened this would be tragic for us all. Dogs and cats would disappear except for a few in zoos and mankind would be a lot poorer to be deprived of these animal companions. Think of all the service dogs and how much they help people. The dogs enjoy the work and love to get out there and search for missing folks or sniff out bombs.
So common sense needs to be held up and people allowed to be able to enjoy these amazing animals.
Dear Dolphins Fans,
I am writing to you in behalf of your Heavenly Father. He is seeking you like a lost sheep. You remember the Bible story? It is about a shepherd who has 100 sheep. But when he brings the sheep home one night, one is missing. He then leaves the 99 sheep and goes out into the wilderness until he finds that lost sheep.
In this parable the shepherd goes out to search for the one lost sheep-the very least that can be numbered. So if there had been but one lost soul, Christ would have died for that one. To read more click Lost Sheep
