Summer time means summer camps for kids. In the past summer camp meant a fun time in the great outdoors but now a summer camp can also specialize in certain activities like art, music, computer or even weight loss. Religious summer camps are very popular. Parents can send their child to camp to learn more about Christ and at the same time the children will be enjoying many fun outdoor activities. Most summer camps have counselors who are adults that can guide the kids in their activities and make sure things are running smoothly. Counselors are usually assigned to each cabin or hut where they can watch out for each child and keep them safe and comfort those who are home sick.

Counselors should be good examples to the children and can have a good influence stretching beyond the camp experience.

There are approximately 12,000 summer camps in the United States caring for up to 10 million kids each year. A good camp can change a child for life by influencing them for the good or guiding them into a good career.

Many city kids never experience nature and can benefit from a hands on experience and learn to appreciate the outdoors. Children can learn to enjoy outdoor activities, which can prevent obesity and depression.

I am writing to you in behalf of your Heavenly Father. He is seeking you like a lost sheep. You remember the Bible story? It is about a shepherd who has 100 sheep. But when he brings the sheep home one night, one is missing. He then leaves the 99 sheep and goes out into the wilderness until he finds that lost sheep.
